A new charity has been set up in the Shadow of the Olympic Stadium. E20 Eastenders Fishing Club , which intends to help disabled ex-servicemen and children as well as bring back fishing to the canal in East London.

They have been given space by The Canal and River Trust to create their HQ on the banks of the Lea Navigation. They are in need of a small rowing boat so that they can fish from the cut as well as the banks. A stable, flat bottomed boat would be ideal, but anything serviceable would be good. They have transport available to collect.

If you have such a boat or know of one that could be donated, please get in touch with Phil at Boatshed Grand Union (Phil@boatshedgrandunion.com)
