Broker's Comments
Sometimes it’s easier to accept the argument in favour of cruising catamarans over their mono-hull equivalents than try and concoct a convincing counter-point. The virtues stare you in the face, from the moment you step on board (and the boat doesn’t move underfoot). Even on a boat with a modest 24' LOA: walk about the spacious cockpit; wander around the expansive (and flat) fore-deck, then venture below into an interior with more accommodation than your average studio flat. I really like the lay-out on this boat: there’s a good-sized saloon with seating for about six on three sides of the table. Aft in each hull there’s a decent double berth and a further single in the forepeak on the starboard side. The port hull contains the nav station, and the starboard the galley. On deck, all the sail controls lead back to the helm. Engine access is good. Power comes from a 9.9 petrol outboard that tilts up out of the water to reduce drag when under sail. This is a well-sorted cruising cat in nice condition.
