Broker's Comments

This Catalac 8m is an ideal boat for sailing the inland waterways and estuaries of England. Spacious and stable she offers plenty of room both on deck and down below. Powered by two Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engines with shaft drive to a 3 bladed prop she has a low draft making her ideal for tidal waters and can sit comfortably upright when the tide is out. In the current ownership for the last 9 years she has been maintained by the owner. The engines were out last year and have been refitted following maintenance and replacement of serviceable items. This is an affordable entry into sailing, she comes with lots of inventory (too many parts to list), additional sails (inspection is recommended) and plenty of warps and fenders. Viewing is recommended as is a survey as the last one was done in 1999 (the current owner being an industry professional, inspected her himself and has maintained her accordingly). Since photographing her, she has been put back in the water having been anti fouled,
