Broker's Comments

I am very pleased to be able to offer to the market an extremely tidy example of the high quality Scandinavian Skilso 975 Arctic, twin diesel shaft drive cruiser with added bow and stern thrusters with wireless dockside remote control!

The Scandinavian boats have a design, ethos and build all of their own and stand out from similar sized boats thanks to the fit out, quality of materials and the excellent engineering that are the DNA of these well respected craft.

The Skilso 975 is a prime example of this boat building style and the skilful design intent and realisation of the boat builder’s craft. She can comfortably sleep 6 in three separate cabins, large combined heads and shower room. She has a galley up layout with large convertible saloon, twin seat helm station, large aft cockpit / sun deck and also a huge storage lazarette below the aft deck all in just about 31 foot! The large, full width teak laid bathing platform, with excellent large central gate, complete the superb flexibility of this boat. How they package all this in and still succeed in making the layout so homely & snug (yet still practical and comfortable) is an art, and very much a unique field of the Scandi boats.

This particular example has been cherished by her current owner for the last 6 years and is only the 3rd owner from new!

No expense has been spared to both maintain and heavily improve this boat to a superbly high standard of comfort and features that nicely enhance the original skill of the boat builder. The list is far too extensive to add here but the top points are: new upholstery throughout, including aft deck seating and foredeck sun pads, bow and stern thrusters both wirelessly controlled via a full dockside remote so you can manoeuvre while standing on the dock at the push of a button!, fully fitted inverter system, USB charging points, chart plotter, autopilot, new cooker (never been used), new helm controls, life raft, life jackets, remote spotlight, warm air heating, the list goes on and on. Quite simply this boat has it all!

The boat is presented in what can only be described as beautiful condition both inside and outside and is very hard to find any fault with and has been fully polished. If I were to be picky then the wood floor under the carpet would benefit from a re varnish here and there, but that really is all that comes to mind. She has had regular servicing by marine professionals to her Volvo Penta TAMD 31PA engines and is shaft drive. Her cavernous lazarette aft is the width of the boat and offers enormous storage and easy access to many systems. She has two fridges fitted and represents huge value for the spec that she boasts.

She has the added peace of mind of a fresh Boat Safety Certificate that expires Jan 2026 too.

The documentation that comes with this boat is huge with all manuals and bills etc and history as you would expect from such a well looked after vessel.

If you are looking for a high quality, fully equipped and capable cruising craft with Scandi design then this will be perfect.

The marina is also open to the new owner taking over the mooring so she can stay where she currently is if desired
