Portsmouth Boatshed agreed to undertake to sale of our Bavaria 34 in May 17 and Sam Cassell came aboard to take the photos and gather details. She ensured that the photos showed our boat at its best and then discussed the process of the sale. She also instructed us on all the documents she would need to see. The boat went on the website and Sam showed our boat to potential buyers as we lived a long way from Portsmouth. She kept us up-to-date at all times and when she had a positive buyer as we were going on holiday, she prepared all the paperwork she would need to proceed with the sale. Whilst we were on holiday in July 17 she sold the yacht and checked we could deliver the boat when needed. We are very satisfied with how the sale progressed and are happy with Portsmouth Boatshed overall.

I would like to say the service that you provided was "fantastic" this was my first time buying a yacht so i did not understand the procedure and what was involved in the purchase of a yacht. Dear David, I have found working with you and Boatshed Hayling Island a very pleasurable experience. Purchasing my recent yacht, not something I have done for many years was well managed and co-ordinated by yourself for which I am most grateful. You were kind enough to guide me through the processes and procedures and to assist in negotiating with the owner and boatyard those items on the yacht which required repair or replacement following a full yacht marine survey. Although it took a while for some of the work to be carried out due to schedules and availability of marine engineers and the like, I have peace of mind following the purchase that I hopefully have a sound yacht which will serve me for many years to come. Boatshed’s standard contract was helpful from a purchasers perspective in making clear each parties duties and responsibilities which must minimise the potential for disputes as long as a professional full yacht marine survey is carried out.
