Pacesetter 540 – Recently Reduced!

Saturday, 06 April 2013

The Bracewell Pacesetter 540 is a spacious, comfortable three stateroom yacht. It’s a design that exhibits an excellent use of space and provides more liveable volume than most 58 – 60 foot vessels. When operated in trawler-like fashion (10 knots) it performs extremely economically. But it can get up and go when needed — 21 knots or more.

Cyprus - Gone to the Dogs? Not Likely.....

Friday, 05 April 2013

Cyprus after the banking crisis is still alive and kicking as people turned out in their thousands to attend a charity concert. Admission to the day-long event in Nicosia- organised by Cyprus Aid - was free but revellers were asked to donate items, such as food and clothing, which could be distributed to the city's poor and unemployed. Volunteers were overwhelmed with hundreds of boxes of donations. One said: "We are doing this to help people and we want to send a message to people abroad that if we are united we can make things happen," Concert organiser, Nicko Zavallis, said the response from local people to the event had been "amazing". "We did not expect this outcome," he said. "People have been coming with trucks. Instead of a bag, they have been filling up trucks of goods and they have been bringing it to us."

New Instructions – Shakespeare 620 Sport RIB for sale

Saturday, 30 March 2013

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a stunning Shakespeare 620 Sport. Finished in dark blue hypalon tubes, white and piped blue upholstery and equipped with a 150hp outboard this RIB is both attractive and fast! She has been dry stored and launched as required so she has never been antifouled – I could only find one tiny mark on the hull (that will probably polish off anyway). Ample cockpit seating makes this RIB ideal for families or plenty of space for water skis etc. Appointments to view can be booked in advance 6-days a week directly with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.

Thursday, 28 March 2013

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a lovingly maintained Beneteau Oceanis 311 Clipper. This one owner from new 311 has the benefit of the lifting keel reducing her draft to just over 2’ with the keel up but over 7’ when lowered. The 311 is based on the Figaro racing class hull and therefore offers some quite impressive performance. The Clipper version of the 311 added extra features including the wheel helm and lazy jacks. The current owners have certainly used and enjoyed their 311 and she is very well presented, equipped with a good inventory and is now ready to launch. Appointments to view can be booked in advance 6-days a week directly with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.

What is an Easter egg?

What is an Easter egg?

Thursday, 28 March 2013

An Easter egg is a secret message or hidden feature in a film, book or in computer software. The idea is that once you know there is one to be found, you may hunt for it the way you would look for eggs in an Easter egg hunt.

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Marine Trader Europa 40. Imported into the UK by the current owner (VAT was paid on import) this trawler yacht offers plenty of living space, a large fly bridge and recently refurbished and installed Ford Lehman engines. Stepping onboard is like boarding a mini ship with a large main saloon and equally large galley to port. Overall she would provide a very comfortable long-range cruising yacht or equally comfortable live aboard. The owner has upgraded a lot of equipment (including a 240v circuit) though there are still some finishing touches required to her refurbishment. Appointments to view can be booked in advance 6-days a week directly with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.
